A quiet location in Santa Maria

The city center is 10 minutes walking, and around the area there are several small shops for groceries (1-minute walk). It is 2 minutes walk from the beautiful beach of Antonio Sousa, with warm shallow waters and variety of centers offering surfing, kite-surfing, SUP and windsurfing lessons and renting equipment. A diving center is located on the spot too. There are several local places and restaurants to eat or have a drink around the area, especially in the front-line.
At the back, a nice short walk through the desert landscape will bring you to the wilder and astonishing beach of Igrejinha and Costa de Fragata, at the east of the island.
